The key to success for any organization begins with leadership. At Egghart we have surrounded ourselves with the best leadership team in the industry. Our Directors all have extensive experience and are specialists at firm management, strategic planning, audit management, customer service, education, and consulting. In addition, our Managers are the best in the country and have spent their careers in Tribal and/or casino auditing, accounting, and compliance.

Ryan Burns
Director of Audit & Assurance
After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, Ryan joined Egghart and subsequently passed the uniform CPA examination in the first sitting. Ryan oversees the compliance and financial audits for some of the largest and most diverse Tribal organizations in the country. Included in his experience of auditing over sixty gaming organizations, Ryan has also performed extensive audits of tribally sponsored enterprises including hotels, golf courses, RV parks, retail outlets, and many other diverse tribal enterprises.

Sheryl Ashley
Director of Risk Consulting
Sheryl has over 20 years of professional experience in public accounting, casino accounting, and consulting. Much of her career prior to joining Egghart was with a regional accounting firm and at the Controller’s Office of the State of Nevada. At the regional firm she performed internal auditing work for several Northern Nevada casinos as an outsourced internal auditor. Sheryl also supervised the gaming revenue audit and the currency transaction reporting function for a large Nevada casino. Since joining Egghart in 1999, Sheryl obtained her license as a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Forensic Certified Public Accountant.

Alycia York
Director of Client Relationships
The cornerstone to our organization is the maintenance of healthy relationships with our most valuable asset, our clients. Alycia began working for the firm in 2001 and, after serving as the firm's office manager for four years, was promoted to Director of Client Relationships. Working in this capacity, she serves as the face of Egghart and the primary contact for our clients. She is the daily business liaison of the organization and is responsible for the satisfaction of our customers, acting as the 'voice of the client'.

Mike Sparling
Manager
Mike joined our firm in 2000 and worked as a senior auditor through March of 2007 when he took employment with a local CPA firm based in Nevada, serving as that firm’s audit manager. Mike returned to Egghart & Associates in June of 2008 and is currently working as an audit manager for the firm. He attended Lake Superior State University in Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

George Metkovich
Manager
After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, George joined Harrah’s Entertainment as an internal auditor where he performed operational and compliance audits of casinos located in Nevada along with Tribal casinos located in Arizona and Kansas. He then decided to move into public accounting and joined the Reno office of Grant Thornton ultimately serving as an audit manager.

Joseph Truchot
Manager
Joe serves as Quality Control Manager and Technical Reviewer. Prior to joining Egghart, Joe worked over ten years for a firm in the Northwest performing governmental and single audit engagements. He then spent nearly three years working on audits relating to both for-profit and not-for-profit entities. Joseph attended Montana State University – Bozeman where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business, and after graduating, passed the CPA Exam in his first sitting.
